They followed the presidential elections in which opposition candidate Vojislav Ko\u0161tunica emerged victorious, but the results were disputed by the official authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Supporters of opposition parties, united under the DOS coalition, arrived in Belgrade on October 5 from across Serbia. During a rally in front of the Parliament building, they attempted to enter the premises. Clashes with the police ensued, eventually spreading to the area in front of the RTS building.
